3 days to go…
17 April 2007I’m off on my Stag do on Friday…Oh yeah, I’m getting married in May!
Yep, after ten years of living in sin, spawning 3 little bastards and surviving 7 house moves together, the lovely Judith and I are officially to become Mr and Mrs Herlihy. Poor cow.
Did I not mention anything?
So anyway, Friday. We’re off to Amsterdam. Until Monday. I’m hoping that a month will be enough time to recover sufficiently for the nuptials. Orders have been placed and I’m eating plenty of oily fish in lieu of all the braincells that will undoubtedly choose to stay behind.

Awwwwww - that’s lovely. I know you’re only doing it for the presents though! That’s why I would do it!!!

Presents? Will there be presents? Is that some kind of tradition or something?
Cool. Bonus.

speaking of presents… i’m off to the naughty shop today (charmingly called “Pillow Talk”) to buy Jude a little something-something for the “honeymoon”. you know, like a chastity belt or a can of mace… any suggestions?

I’ve always found a jar of swarfega and a saveloy to be more than enough to finish the job, although I’m doubtful as to whether the shop of which you speak will carry those items.
Obviously, a twelve-inch, throbbing, purple strap-on is way high up the wedding list. Gimp masks however, are not.

Jannism, I am visiting your web site via Virtual Norwood and thought I would wish you a great day on Saturday - and good luck to Judith by all accounts! Hope your congregation aren’t delayed due to a certain football match being played the same day. And by the way, where exactly is Ditcheat in Somerset and why are you logging onto VN?

Thanks, Sylvester! Nuptials should be well out of the way by the time the footie starts.
Ditcheat’s a few miles south of Shepton Mallet, about 10 miles east of Glastonbury. We moved here a couple of years ago. I was born and raised in Crystal Palace and a resident for over 30 years so it’s in my blood, I’m afraid.
